I'm finally getting around to posting pictures from Easter. We had a great day. Gary and Jacob went to church in the morning, then came home to find that the Easter Bunny had stopped by. Jacob got a Mr. Potato Head and some building blocks in his Easter basket. It was fun to see his reaction to the new toys. Later that evening when Gary's mom arrived, we had an Easter Egg Hunt, and then we colored Easter eggs. It was a fun day, and we were glad to share the fun events with Gary's mom.

Opening the basket.

He loved building the blocks up and pushing them over.

Here is Jake and Grandma Monson finding eggs in the back yard. (Jake's munching on some candy in this photo).

After the first couple of eggs, he figured out how the egg hunt worked. He also had to open each egg to see what was inside.

Daddy was there to help keep the candy in the basket.

"Cheese!" (Can you see the chocolate drool?)

Grandma brought some cute bunny ears, and we were able to snap a shot with them on Jake.

Daddy and Jake coloring Easter eggs. (Don't you love Jake's new look?)

The finished product.
I love that pic of Jake in the bunny ears :) He is such a CUTIE!!! He has really pretty eyes too. Looks like a fun Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie. The blocks are a super cute idea for the basket. I am sure he is loving them. Just make sure they get picked up because they hurt super bad when you step on one (not that I am speaking from experience or anything ;))
