After Christmas (the 26-29) we were able to go to New Orleans with Gary's parents. They flew out to spend time in LA and TX, and since we were only a short drive away, we decided to join them! We had tons of fun, and the boys loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Monson. We were able to go on a swamp tour, out to eat at many great restaurants, a Children's Museum, and just walk around the city. It was a fun vacation. (It might be our last for quite a while!)

| Austin's favorite part was the grocery store. He would fill his cart up with about twenty of the same item! He was so into it, and he did not want to leave. |

| We went to a hot dog place for dinner. The place was so cute, and it was nice enough to eat outside. |

| Touring around the city. It was fun to see all of the pretty buildings and fun atmosphere. We were able to hear many musicians, and we even got to hear a brass band. (Linds, it reminded me of our Jazz History class at Utah State! It was a blast!) |
It was so fun being with you and the boys. We had a great time and was pleasantly surprised at how fun and beautiful New Orleans was. I'd definately go back again in the future some time.
ReplyDeleteAustin was so cute the way he holds a fork from the far end and then works so hard get the food to reach his mouth. It's such serious work. Jake was so cute with his Santa Hat and little Santa coin bag. It's great that a few shiny pennies can keep him happy while we waited for dinner. A great memory.
